The food is excellent at Annie's Eats. Always. The brisket without fail is hands down some of the best I've ever had. The mac and cheese, the greens, corn bread, and every other side I've had there has been incredible. If by chance you can get there in time to have their peach cobbler or any of the other desserts don't hesitate to splurge! Service is quick, and it's a low-frills carry-out place. The owner gives a lot back to the community and employs a lot of people who work hard!!
I had a retirement party and chose to use a local business. This was an excellent choice! We had ribs, beef brisket, pulled pork, baked beans, and Mac and cheese. Boy, that was so good and delicious! Friends and family really enjoyed the food. I highly recommend this place for carryout and catering.
We love Annie's! Always have great service and great food. Be warned on the family chicken dinner though it's not a bang for your buck. A half chicken dinner and 2 sides + corn muffin is $12. A whole chicken and 2 regular sides + 4 corn muffins is $34. I assumed the sides would be bigger but they were just regular sides. Just don't be fooled like I was. The half chicken dinners are a great deal though!
Well, this was a hidden gem in Bloomington, IL, off the beaten path. Great food and customer service, and you need to get over here and experience this wonderful establishment . I had the smoked bologna sandwich with 3 different sauces. The smoked wings with fries / sweet chili sauce tipped it off with the pineapple upside down cake. Make sure to give the a try, you won't be disappointed.
Annie's is AMAZING barbecue! We are from out of town and had a lot of family in town. We had to make a large order and Annie was so nice and helpful. The whole staff was great and helped us with our order. The food was delicious and some of the best barbecue we've had. Our whole family loved it and ate it up! I can confidently say this was the best pulled pork and barbecue sauce I've ever had. We highly recommend coming here!!

Annie's is located in one of the "sketchier" parts of Bloomington but the food is anything but sketchy. I was skeptical about it at first, but after trying it, it's become part of my restaurant rotation. First, you have to get yourself an appetizer. The BBQ Nachos are an absolute flavor bomb. The portion size here is so big you could honestly order it as a meal for one person. Eat them quickly or they will get soggy. Next, you have to get yourself an entree. The meat here never misses. I've had the pulled pork, chicken, and brisket sandwiches. The meat is ACTUALLY properly seasoned (imagine that), and is always beautifully tender. The barbeque sauces are a fitting compliment to any meat. I am partial to the Kickin' Tangy. 9.5/10
Great food! We picked up dinner for 5 and the food was great! I highly recommend the brisket sandwich. The employees were very organized and polite. We get food for our group every Friday and we had no issues with the order and I can't say that about a lot of places. The fact the person bagging our food took the time to show me everything in the order was a really cool touch that just made sure the order was correct. Keep that up! All in all...we will be back!
Looked down at Instagram while at a stoplight and caught the burnt ends availability post a few minutes prior and headed straight there! The place smells SO killer, the menu today was chocked full (including BBQ nachos and a Greek salad as 2 other specials) and my burnt ends came out pretty quick but still needed 20 secs in the microwave from the ride home. While the chunks of meat themselves were somewhat dense, still juicy and not as fatty as I've had previously, they were EXTRA saucy, so much so that although I really wanted to add the mustard sauce, they came with so much of the 'sweet & smoky' (which is also good), I quickly realized it woulda been a waste. Besides the too-heavy saucing the other thing that stuck out from the visit was the price - $15 out-the-door for just that half pound. On that note, it will be relegated to the occasional lunch splurge and/or be added to the dine-out/take-out night rotation.
